Area Tawaf di sekitar Ka´bah Mekkah – dibuka kembali untuk jamaah non-Umrah pada hari Sabtu, (7/3/2020) setelah sebelumnya sempat dikosongkan untuk sementara waktu dalam rangka pencegahan virus Corona (Covid-19).
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) melaporkan seperti dilansir arabnews.com bahwa area tersebut dibuka kembali untuk jamaah non umrah.
Presiden Umum Masjidil Haram dan Urusan Masjid Nabawi di Madinah Syekh Dr. Abdurrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais menekankan perlunya mematuhi prosedur pencegahan dan kerja sama dengan semua pekerja di Masjid Agung untuk melayani pengunjungnya.
Keputusan tersebut mengikuti operasi sterilisasi di Masjidil Haram.
Umat Islam melakukan shalat Jum’at di Masjidil Haram di Mekah dan Masjid Nabawi di Madinah untuk pertama kalinya sejak pembatasan yang bertujuan mencegah penyebaran coronavirus diumumkan oleh pemerintah Arab Saudi. (fath)
