Hiramedia: Sekitar 345.000 peziarah dari seluruh dunia sejauh ini telah tiba di Madinah untuk melakukan haji tahun ini, menurut angka resmi yang dilaporkan oleh Saudi Press Agency pada hari Jumat.
Kerajaan Arab Saudi mengizinkan hingga satu juta orang untuk melakukan haji tahun ini. Kerajaan juga baru pertama kalinya dalam dua tahun terakhir menerima kunjungan jamaah haji dari negara asing, di mana selama pembatasan COVID-19 peziarah dua tanah suci hanya terbatas pada penduduk negara itu.
Kementerian Haji dan Umrah mengatakan bahwa hampir 279.000 orang telah mendarat di Bandara Internasional Pangeran Mohammed bin Abdulaziz sejak dimulainya penerbangan haji pertama. Semenatra itu, sekitar 66.000 jemaah telah tiba melalui jalur darat.
Dilaporkan arabnews.com mengutip Kantor Berita Arab Saudi (SPA), lebih dari 265.000 peziarah telah meninggalkan Madinah dan sedang dalam perjalanan ke tempat-tempat suci di Mekkah. Hampir 80.000 masih berada di kota (Madinah), katanya.
Pihak berwenang di Madinah bekerja sepanjang waktu untuk memastikan pelayanan terbaik bagi pengunjung, tambah Kementerian Haji.
Kepresidenan Umum untuk Urusan Dua Masjid Suci mengkonfirmasi kesiapannya untuk menerima peziarah. Dikatakan bahwa mereka telah memobilisasi 10.000 pekerja.
Kepresidenan juga mengatakan bahwa terjemahan langsung khutbah Hari Arafah, salah satu acara terpenting dalam kalender Islam, telah diperluas untuk mencakup 14 bahasa. Pemerintah Arab Saudi berupaya menyampaikan pesan moderasi dan toleransi kepada khalayak seluas mungkin.
Khutbah akan tersedia dalam bahasa Inggris, Prancis, Melayu, Urdu, Persia, Rusia, Cina, Bengali, Turki, Hausa, Spanyol, India, Swahili, dan Tamil.
