Serangan Gerakan Mujahidin Somalia Tewaskan 6 Orang di Mogadishu

Hiramedia : Gerakan Mujahidin Somalia mengaku bertanggung jawab atas bom bunuh diri yang menargetkan sebuah toko di ibu kota, Mogadishu, Jumát (27/11/2020) yang menewaskan 6 orang.
Gerakan itu mengatakan di situs “Somali Memo”, yang berafiliasi dengannya, bahwa salah satu pejuangnya melakukan operasi di sebuah toko yang sering dikunjungi oleh petugas keamanan.
Dilansir aljazeera.net (27/11/2020) mengutip berbagai sumber, pihak berwenang mengatakan bahwa serangan itu menewaskan 6 orang, pada saat gerakan menyatakan bahwa operasi tersebut mengakibatkan pembunuhan sekitar 10 orang, termasuk perwira dan anggota dinas intelijen, dan melukai 15 orang lainnya, dalam berbagai tingkatan-level.
Pemerintah mengutuk serangan itu, dan Menteri Informasi Somalia Othman Dubai mengatakan dalam sebuah pernyataan, “Serangan teroris menegaskan tekad teroris untuk menumpahkan lebih banyak darah rakyat kami.”
Selama bertahun-tahun, Somalia telah melancarkan perang melawan Al-Shabaab, yang didirikan pada awal 2004, sebuah gerakan bersenjata yang berafiliasi dengan ideologi Al-Qaeda dan telah mengadopsi banyak operasi yang telah merenggut puluhan nyawa. (Fath)
