Arab Saudi : Masjidil Haram Mekkah Bersiap Menerima Kedatangan Jamaah Haji

Hiramedia : Menjelang pelaksanaan ibadah haji terbatas tahun 1442 H./2021 M, Kementerian Haji dan Umrah Kerajaan Arab Saudi telah menghentikan penerbitan izin shalat di Masjidil Haram, mulai Jumat (16/7/2021). Hal itiu dilakukan dalam rangka persiapan haji dan untuk menerima jemaah haji yang mendapat izin tahun ini.
Izin pelaksanaan shalat akan dikeluarkan kembali mulai 24 Juli, kata Kementerian tersebut dukutip arabnews.com (16/7/2021).
Seperti diketahui pada tahun 2019, sebelum pendemi virus corona (COVID-19) para peziarah (jamaah haji) ke Mekkah yang menjadi pertemuan umat muslim sedunia itu diperkirakan mencapai 2,5 juta peziarah. Namun, karena pandemi COVID-19, haji tahun ini dibatasi hanya untuk 60.000 jemaah, dan itupun berasal dari dalam Kerajaan Arab Saudi.
Pembatasan seperti ini juga berlaku pada tahun 2020 yang lalu, dengan jumlah jamaah yang lebih sedikit dan terbatas. Tahun lalu, hanya mencapai 1.000 jamaah-peziarah yang diizinkan karena dunia sedang dilanda pandemi.
Kementerian Kesehatan menekankan pentingnya mematuhi langkah-langkah pencegahan dalam pertemuan keluarga selama liburan Idul Adha, seperti memakai masker, menghindari berjabat tangan dan menjaga jarak aman untuk membatasi penyebaran penyakit dan untuk menjaga kesehatan serta keselamatan seluruh anggota masyarakat.
Kementerian Kesehatan mengumumkan bahwa lebih dari 21 juta dosis vaksin COVID-19 telah diberikan di Arab Saudi melalui lebih dari 580 situs vaksinasi di seluruh Kerajaan.
Bahkan kemudian, infeksi baru terus berlanjut di seluruh dunia karena varian penyakit telah muncul.
Arab Saudi melaporkan 15 kematian terkait COVID-19 lagi pada hari Kamis, sehinga jumlah keseluruhan kasus kematian menjadi 8.035 orang.
Menurut laporan arabnews.com, ada 1.165 kasus baru di wilayah Kerajaan Arab Saudi, yang berarti 506.125 orang di negara itu telah tertular penyakit tersebut. Sebanyak 11.172 kasus masih aktif, 1.429 di antaranya dalam kondisi kritis.
Dalam kaitan dengan pelaksaan ibadah haji, dilaporkan, pihak otoritas Arab saudi menangkap sepuluh orang yang dianggap melanggar peraturan haji pada hari Kamis (15/7/2021) setelah mereka gagal menunjukkan izin yang sah. Kata Jenderal Sami Al-Shuwairekh. Mereka dikenakan denda SR10.000 ($2.660).
Al-Shuwairekh meminta semua warga dan penduduk untuk mematuhi instruksi untuk haji tahun ini. Ia menambahkan bahwa personel keamanan akan membawa tindakan hukum terhadap siapa pun yang mencoba mencapai Masjidil Haram di Mekkah, daerah sekitar pusat dan tempat-tempat suci (Mina, Muzdalifah , Arafat) tanpa izin sampai dengan 23 Juli.
Kementerian Haji dan Umrah mengatakan bahwa pada 17 dan 18 Juli jemaah akan diterima di empat pusat, dari mana mereka akan diangkut ke Masjidil Haram dengan bus untuk melakukan tawaf kedatangan (Tawaf Qudum), sebelum menuju ke tempat-tempat suci. (Fath)
