Menlu China Bertemu Penjabat Menlu Afganistan di Doha

Hiramedia : Menteri Luar Negeri China, Wang Yi melakukan pertemuan dengan penjabat Menteri Luar Negeri Afganistan, Amin Khan Muttaki di Doha, Qatar (26/10/2021).
Menurut laporan aljazeera.net (26/10/2021), selain bertemu mitranya dari Afganistan membahas pemerintahan di Afganistan di bawah Taliban, Menteri Luar Negeri China juga meminta Doha untuk mencairkan aset Afghanistan dan mendukung pemerintah Taliban.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Menteri Luar Negeri China menekankan bahwa Beijing memimpin dialog dengan negara-negara Barat tentang situasi di Afghanistan, tetapi terlalu dini untuk berbicara tentang pengakuan internasional atau China itu sendiri terhadap pemerintah Taliban.
Menlu Wang Yi telah menyerukan agar pembekuan aset Afghanistan dicabut agar supaya memungkinkan upaya pemerintah sementara untuk memperluas pemerintah dan melayani rakyat Afghanistan.
Setelah bertemu Penjabat Menteri Luar Negeri Afghanistan Amir Khan di ibukota Qatar, Doha, Wang Yi meminta Washington dan Uni Eropa untuk memikul tanggung jawab mereka dalam memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan ke Afghanistan untuk mencegah gelombang baru pengungsi.
Menteri China menekankan bahwa negaranya menghormati peran yang dimainkan oleh pemerintah sementara Afghanistan yang dipimpin oleh Taliban dan meminta semua pihak untuk lebih banyak berinteraksi dengan gerakan tersebut, sehingga dapat memperluas pemerintahan saat ini demi kepentingan rakyat Afghanistan.
Sementara itu, juru bicara Kementerian Luar Negeri Afghanistan, Abdul Qahar Balkhi seperti dilansir aljazeera.net mengatakan – dalam sebuah tweet – bahwa kedua belah pihak membahas hubungan diplomatik, perdagangan bilateral dan memberikan kesempatan pendidikan bagi mahasiswa Afghanistan di universitas-universitas China.
Balkhi menambahkan bahwa pihak Afghanistan sekali lagi berterima kasih kepada China atas bantuan kemanusiaannya, dan menegaskan kembali komitmen negaranya untuk tidak menggunakan wilayah Afghanistan melawan China.
Menurut juru bicara itu, Menteri Luar Negeri China menyambut baik perkembangan positif baru-baru ini di Afghanistan dan memuji hubungan historis China dan Afghanistan. Ia menekankan bahwa Beijing akan bertindak atas dasar kepentingan bersama antara kedua negara tanpa mencampuri urusan dalam negeri Afghanistan.
Balkhi mengatakan bahwa kedua pihak sepakat untuk mengadakan pertemuan dan membentuk mekanisme untuk meningkatkan kerja sama kedua negara di berbagai bidang. (Fath)
