Ketua DPC PKB Kota Tangerang, H.Ahmad Fuady,Lc bersama komunitas Tionghoa/dok.dpc PKB
Hiramedia : Ratuasan orang dari komunitas etnis Tionghoa, China Benteng Kota Tangerang lakukan deklarasi dukungan kepada Gus Muhaimin Iskandar, Ketua Umum Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa sebagai calon Presiden RI 2024, Minggu (13/02/2022) di Resto Bambu Oju, Neglasari Kota Tangerang.
Deklarasi tersebut dibacakan Elvan Wicaksaono bersama perwakilan masyarakat etnis Tionghoa Benteng. Ia menyebut bahwa dukungan politiknya kepada Gus Muhaimin karena semangat dan komitmennya dalam menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai kemanusian, pluralitas dan demokrasi.
Sementara itu, ketua DPC PKB Kota Tangerang, H.Ahmad Fuady mengapresiasi sikap politik dan dukungan masyarakat etnis Tionghoa kepada Gus Muhaimin Iskandar sebagai Ketua Umum Partai Kebangkita Bangsa untuk menjadi Presiden RI melalui Pemilu Presiden 2024.
“Sikap politik dan dukungan saudara-saudara kami dari etnis Tionghoa Benteng kepada Gus Muhaimin Iskandar perlu diapresiasi dan tentu menjadi kehormatan bagi kami sebagai Dewan Pengurus Cabang PKB di kota Tangerang”.
Lebih lanjut, Ahmad Fuady menegaskan bahwa dirinya yang lahir dan dibesarkan di lingkungan masyarakat etnis Tionghoa Benteng juga merasa terpanggil untuk memperjuangkan hak-hak kemanusiaan setiap warga negara Indonesia, termasuk warga keturunan etnis Tionghoa melalui PKB.
“Masyarakat etnis Tionghoa, khususnya di Kota Tangerang, Banten telah merasakan hasil perjuangan tokoh Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) dan pendiri PKB, KH.Abdurrahman Wahid. Atas perjuangan beliau saat menjadi Presiden RI (1999-2001) dan tentunya tokoh-tokoh PKB lainnya, masyarakat keturunan Tionghoa kini bebas melaksanaakan aktivitas kepercayaan/keyakinan dan bebas mengekspresikan warisan budaya leluhurnya, termasuk ILMLEK yang baru saja di rayakan”.
“Mari perjuangkan hak-hak kemanusiaan untuk kemakmuran umat manusia, dan mari berjuang bersama Partai Kebangkitan Banagsa”, tegas Ahmad Fuady.
