Sudan : Militer Kudeta Pemerintahan Transisi

Hiramedia : Sejak dua pekan terakhir , demonstrasi besar-besaran berlangsung di Ibukota Khartum. Para pendukung pemerintahan transisi yang dipimpin Abdalla Hamdouk dengan pendukung kelempok militer dibawah komando Jenderal Abdel Fattah Burhan berseteru.
Diberitakan sebelumnya seperti dilansir aljazeera.net (25/10/2021) sejumlah tokoh politik dan Menteri di pemerintahan transisi yang dipimpin Perdana Menteri Abdallah Hamdouk, termasuk Hamdouk sendiri ditangkap dan dibawa ke suatu tempat tanpa diketahui lokasinya. Selain itu, kelompok militer menguasai lembaga penyiaran pemerintah.
Situasi politik di Sudan terus bergejolak setelah setelah penggulingan Presiden Omar al-Bashir pada 2019 lalu.
Upaya penyatuan antara kelompok dan militer dan distribusi kekuasaan dalam pemerintahan di Sudan telah dilakukan, tetapi mengalami kegagalan. Keduanya tidak ada kata sepekat dan kompromi, sehingga pihak militer dibawah Jenderal Abdel Fattah Burhan mengambil alih kekuasaan secara paksa di Sudan.
Kantor berita Reuters memberitakan (25/10/2021) bahwa Militer Sudan merebut kekuasaan dari pemerintah transisi pada Senin (25/10/2021). Seorang pejabat Kementerian Kesehatan mengatakan tujuh orang tewas akibat tembakan dan 140 terluka dalam bentrokan antara tentara dan pengunjuk rasa jalanan.
Pemimpin kudeta Jenderal Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, membubarkan Dewan Berdaulat militer-sipil yang telah dibentuk untuk mengarahkan negara tersebut menuju demokrasi setelah penggulingan Presiden Omar al-Bashir dalam pemberontakan rakyat dua tahun lalu.
Atas kudeta di Sudan, reaksi regional dan internasional bermunculan.
Washington telah mengutuk langkah militer di Sudan, dan Menteri Luar Negeri Anthony Blinken diberitakan aljazeera.net (21/10/2021) mengatakan bahwa tindakan tentara menghambat transisi ke negara demokrasi dan merupakan pengkhianatan terhadap revolusi damai.
“Kita harus kembali ke prinsip-prinsip revolusi damai Sudan dan kerangka transisi yang ditetapkan dalam deklarasi konstitusional,” katanya.
Dia menekankan bahwa Washington “segera menghentikan pengiriman $700 juta dana bantuan ekonomi darurat ke Sudan.” (Fath)
