Hiramedia : Liga Dunia Muslim (Muslim Orld League/MWL) memberikan penghargaan kepada anak-anak yang telah memenangkan kompetisi tahunan menghafal Al-Qur’an yang diselenggarakan di Pakistan.
Portak berita arabnews.com, (23/1/2021) melaporkan bahwa Asisten Sekretaris Jenderal Liga Dunis Muslim (MWL) Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Zeid memberikan hadiah kepada para pemenang serta uang tunai.
Kegiatan tersebut diselenggarakan diselenggarakan oleh kantor regional MWL di Islamabad pada hari Sabtu, (23/1/2021) disponsori oleh Presiden Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi.
Hadir dalam Acara Menteri Federal Pakistan untuk Urusan Agama Noorul Haq Qadri, dan Asisten Sekretaris Jenderal MWL Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Zeid, Duta Besar Saudi untuk Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al-Malki, dan Direktur Regional MWL Saad Al-Harthi.
Alvi mengucapkan selamat kepada para pemenang dan mengucapkan terima kasih atas upaya MWL di berbagai bidang, termasuk dukungannya atas terselenggaranya lomba menghafal Alquran di Pakistan.
Dia memuji upaya Kerajaan Arab Saudi untuk melayani Islam dan umat Muslim, dan untuk merawat Dua Masjid Suci (Mekkah dan Madinah), serta para peziarah.
Presiden menekankan bahwa Pakistan sangat mementingkan hubungan yang sudah mengakar kuat dengan Kerajaan Arab Saudi, yang didasarkan pada agama dan budaya yang sama dan persaudaraan antara rakyat kedua negara. (Fath)
