Hiramedia : Kelompok Hizbullah Libanon mengatakan bahwa mereka telah menembak jatuh pesawat tak berawak (drone) Israel yang melewati batas wilayah udara Libanon pada hari Sabtu (22/8/2020). Sementara itu, tentara pendudukan Israel mengatakan tidak takut akan adanya kebocoran informasi atas insiden tersebut.

Dalam sebuah pernyataan, Hizbullah menegaskan bahwa pesawat Israel melewati wilayah udara Libanon dekat kota Aita Al-Shaab, yang menandakan bahwa pesawat itu dalam tahanan para pejuangnya.

Sementara itu, tentara Israel mengatakan bahwa pesawat tak berawak miliknya “jatuh di wilayah Libanon” selama “aktivitas operasional”, tanpa menjelaskan bagaimana ini terjadi, menjelaskan bahwa “tidak ada ketakutan akan kebocoran informasi.”

Pada 27 Juli, tentara Israel mengumumkan bahwa mereka telah bertempur di perbatasan dengan Libanon setelah gagal dalam upaya untuk menyusup ke sel Hizbullah melalui lintas perbatasan. Namun, Hizbullah tersebut menyangkal adanya bentrokan dengan pihak Israel di perbatasan Selatan Libanon, dan membantah menggagalkan upaya tersebut.

Pada tahun 2006 Libanon menyaksikan perang berdarah antara Israel dan Hizbullah yang berlangsung selama 33 hari, di mana 1.200 orang tewas di Libanon, kebanyakan dari mereka adalah warga sipil, sementara 160 orang Israel tewas, kebanyakan dari mereka adalah tentara. (fath)
