pada 14/11/2021.
Melalui siaran pers Sekretariat Jenderal Organisasi Kerjasama Islam tertanggal 15 mengutuk keras serangan yang dilakukan oleh kelompok teroris pada hari Minggu, 14 November 2021, di “Anta” Burkina Faso utara, yang mengakibatkan tewasnya sembilan belas polisi militer dan satu warga sipil. Selain itu banyak korban yang terluka.
Sekretaris Jenderal organisasi tersebut, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, menyampaikan belasungkawa yang tulus kepada keluarga para korban dan kepada pemerintah serta masyarakat Burkina Faso, sembari berharap pemulihan cepat bagi yang terluka.
Sekretaris Jenderal menegaskan kembali dukungan Organisasi Kerjasama Islam untuk upaya Burkina Faso dalam memberantas terorisme.
