Polisi Lalu Lintas Dubai Bagi-Bagi Makanan Berbuka Puasa Kepada Warga
Suasana Ramadhan di berbagai belahan dunia, khususunya dunia Islam menjadi ajang amal, termasuk kebiasaan menyediakan makan berbuka puasa bagi umat muslim. Kebiasaan tersebut menjadi pemandangan umum di negara-negara muslim setiap bulan suci Ramadhan.
Di Dubai, Uni Emrat Arab, Instansi kepolisian setempat melakukan kagiatan mulia, yaitu menyediakan makanan berbuka puasa (ta´jil) bagi warga yang terdampak virus COVID-19. Petugas kepolisian memberikan makanan berbuka kepada warga sebagai bagian dari tugas kemanusiaan.
Kolonel Jum´a Salem Bin Suwaidan, Deputi Direktur Departemen Lalu Lintas Umum, membenarkan bahwa Polisi Dubai melanjutkan upaya mereka dalam mendukung para pahlawan garis pertahanan pertama selama perjuangan mereka melawan virus “Corona” (Covid- 19)”, yang didedikasikan untuk melayani negeri dan kemanusiaan.
Menurut Bin Suwaidan, kampanye lalu lintas dan manajemen kesadaran di Instansi yang dipimpinnya membagikan makanan berbuka puasa di tempat-tempat polisi bertugas. Selain itu, para polisi juga menemui warga untuk melindungi anggota masyarakat.
Sementara itu, Letnan Kolonel Salah Abdullah Al Hammadi, Direktur Departemen Kampanye Lalu Lintas dan Kesadaran mengatakan bahwa Departemen Lalu Lintas Umum akan melanjutkan upayanya dalam menyediakan makanan berbuka puasa sepanjang bulan Ramadhan bagi para pria di garis pertahanan pertama. Hal ini menunjukkan peran Departemen Kesadaran Lalu Lintas dan Kampanye dalam menyebarkan nilai-nilai toleransi dan mengkonsolidasikan makna solidaritas dan kasih sayang.
Kegiatab ini merupakan peran sosial yang dilakukan oleh Departemen Lalu Lintas Umum sebagai langkah-langkah pencegahan yang diambil oleh negara untuk menghadapi virus COVID-19. Dalam kegiatan tersebut, para petugas kepolisian di Departemen Lalu Lintas Umum berkomitmen untuk melakukan tindakan pencegahan dan prosedur selama pendistribusian makanan kepada petuags yang berada garis pertahanan terdepan.
